She looks so young, not more than 25, and you said that she already played a tribal warrior more than a decade ago..wow.

DeleteShe is attractive but showrunners do such odd things when casting characters these days. It's not like there is a dearth of Celtic or part-Celtic actresses who could play the part (thinking Welsh, Irish, Scottish, Breton, Manx etc even Cornish). That said, I don't know the lady's acting capabilities so maybe shouldn't dismiss her out of hand.
ReplyDeleteShe is a lovely actress, but does look Slavic as she is Russian, so some Irish actress probably would have been a better choice.
DeleteI hope my earlier comment doesn't sound too much like I'm a Little Englander. I think internationalism is a good thing though I'd usually support England in an international football match even though I'm not really a football fan.
