STORY STARTS IN YEAR 1977
when Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by
two charismatic lead singers — Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy
Dunne (Sam Claflin) — the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And
then, after a sold-out show at Chicago’s Soldier Field,

Beside Riley Keough as Daisy Jones, Sam Claflin as Billy Dunne, Camila Morrone stars as Camila Dunne, Will Harrison as Graham Dunne, Suki Waterhouse as Karen Sirko, and Josh Whitehouse as Eddie 
Roundtree.
Also starring are Sebastian Chacon as Warren Rhodes, Nabiyah Be as Simone Jackson, and Tom Wright as Teddy Price, with a special guest 
appearance by Timothy Olyphant as Rod Reyes. Twenty-four original songs were written exclusively for the series and recorded by the cast. The original 
music will be released by Atlantic Records during the rollout of the series! Eleven songs will appear on a special movie album titled Aurora! Beside the 
soundtrack, an exclusive fashion line was created with the brand "Free People" to bring fans of the series "The Daisy Jones & The Six Time Capsule 
Collection". The limited edition line will be available for purchase starting March 13, 2023. Amazon has also released an official store dedicated to Daisy Jones & The Six, where fans could shop fashion, beauty products, music, and books that influenced the series.

I liked the 'old' Fleetwood Mac with the late Peter Green's phenomenal guitar playing better than its later supergroup version. Not saying the supergroup version didn't feature three talented songwriters and some very gifted musicians. I originally thought of Stevie Nicks as being somewhat 'cutesie' but I heard an interview on the radio (many years ago) and she is in fact a very astute lady.
ReplyDeleteI missed most of their career as they were gone before I was born, but I do like their song Dreams. Have in mind that this series is not about them just inspired a bit by their music.

ReplyDeleteYes, and Priscila's grandaughter and Lisa Merie's daughter, nepotism is strong in Hollywood, sadly, not much talent nor looks but gets these roles thanks to her clan. I hate nepotism with passion.

DeleteI agree. I don’t think she’s very pretty and her acting bland at best. It’s like Kaia Gerber and how we’re seeing her everywhere these days. Beautiful girl, but there are so many more girls prettier than her that will never get the same opportunity because their mom wasn’t a supermodel. Honestly, we already had decades of Cindy. I don’t need decades more of her carbon copy offspring. I’d prefer fresh faces in advertising.
DeleteI just read today about a film with Ewan McGregor and his daughter. Kate Winslet also has a film with her daughter and so does Jude Law, not to mention the Penns, Neesons etc. I mean look at Jamie Lee Curtis, she is not overly talented, does not look good and is winning Oscars just because she entered Hollywood as a nepo baby.
