'VERSAILLES' EPIC TV SERIES
EVAN M. WILLIAMS JOINS GEORGE BLAGDEN & ALEXANDER VLAHOS
While we are anxiously awaiting Autumn to bring us one of our most anticipated of the epic English language series VERSAILLES from French Canal + new casting updates are arriving from the set. The latest one to join our beloved George Blagden and magnetically charismatic Alexander Vlahos is Canadian hunk Evan M. Williams who is set to play Chevalier de Lorainne, favourite of Monsieur (Alexander Vlahos), the brother of King Louis XIV (George Blagden).
Ten episodes of VERSAILLES will be set in a world of power, betrayal, lust, love, and declarations of war taking us into the most opulent period in history, where the cult of celebrity was born. The year is 1667 and King Louis XIV is a 28-year-old monarch on the cusp of greatness. A 17th century rock star and an utterly ruthless leader, he will stop at nothing to achieve his vision of creating the most beautiful palace in Europe and seizing absolute control of France and his enemies.

  1. I like fitness, but I don't think I'd ever be able to scale a mountain. Just thinking about it makes me queasy!

    Macbeth looks really good!

    1. I'd never even try it, those people that climb mountains are careless and stupid, especially the ones with families waiting at home. We've had at least two young men from our city die at Everest, and it's just reckless... not to mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars that each climber spends on the trip... such a waste of much needed money

    2. I'm so glad someone shares my and the opinions of these people. And they get so much attention for this foolishness. More attention that a surgeon who saves lives on a daily basis.

    3. yep, because for fathomless reason reckless climbers are biggest heroes in our society than surgeons, doctors or scientists.... Only the pass at Everest costs about 70,000 euro, not to mention everything else, trip, equipment.... for what? To risk your life and do nothing?

    4. All these extreme sports people are alike. Guys who sale million dollar yachts round the world. And we're all supposed to go ooooh and aaaaah over them. Bollox to that.

    5. I completely agree! Definitely careless and wreckless. Those that scale up the side of huge rock walls too!

  5. Glad to see a full trailer for Macbeth. Moi rather likes Fassbender looking gritty, filthy and bloody. Especially when I think of the long, hot showers he must have to take to clean up after filming these scenes :0)
