MOVING NEW 'SUFFRAGETTE' TRAILER WITH MERYL STREEP, HELENA BONHAM CARTER, CAREY MULLIGAN, BEN WHISHAW! ADAM RODRIGUEZ IS COOKIE'S NEW LOVE INTEREST IN 'EMPIRE' SEASON 2

'EMPIRE' SEASON 2
ADAM RODRIGUEZ TO GIVE SOME SUGAR TO COOKIE
One of our favourite series this year was definitely EMPIRE over at Fox which is, as you know, returning this September 23rd for a longer 18 episode second season, and they're already casting new stars: the record breaking show, which follows a broken family behind a huge music label, will see CSI star Adam Rodriguez joining the cast as a smooth talking concert promoter with expert hustler skills, a native New Yorker and former EMT who takes an interest in Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). It has already been announced that Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and Ne-Yo will all guest star in the second run of the show.

NEW 'SUFFRAGETTE' TRAILER
WITH MERYL STREEP, CAREY MULLIGAN, HELENA BONHAM CARTER, BEN WHISHAW
A new trailer has been released for Meryl Streep's new drama which opens this year's London Film Festival and hits cinemas in October. SUFFRAGETTE follows the women who were willing to lose everything in their fight for equality in early 20th century Britain. Maud (Carey Mulligan) is a working wife and mother whose life is forever changed when she is secretly recruited to join the U.K.'s growing suffragette movement. Galvanized by the outlaw fugitive Emmeline Pankhurst (Meryl Streep), Maud becomes an activist for the cause alongside women from all walks of life. Helena Bonham Carter, Brendan Gleeson and Ben Whishaw also star.

    3. fingers crossed, dear, although I don't see it happening as long as the greedy nations are ruling the world and exploiting others instead of progressing together

    1. get used to unknown names :) The spy is known for discovering new stars and writing about them before they get seriously popular... which is why so many celebs love us and read us :)

  7. Meryl is burning up the cinemas right now and I'm so pleased to see it. Suffragette should be another good one as that story is gripping. We had to take a year of Women's Studies at University and we did a semester on this and on the leading women in the American movement. It was wonderful to read about those women.

So I've returned from a long day. We don't have enough time to have a dress made, so we're going to buy off rack. The Spawn found two dresses she likes and one of them was so beautiful it made me cry. It's all hitting me that my little girls is really getting married. I can still remember her as a tiny thing in my arms and then there she was, resplendent in white and looking like a princess.

Imagine the tears when your baby gives you her own babies in a few years time :) I'm so happy for your, dear, I can't even describe it! If someone deserves a lil' happiness after all we've been through in our lives, it's us from the Shenanigan's Pub!
