NETFLIX ORDERS NEW SHOWS BLACK RABBIT WITH JUDE LAW, JASON BATEMAN, THE UNDERTOW WITH JAMIE DORNAN, HOUSE OF GUINNESS FROM STEVEN KNIGHT

    NEW NETFLIX SERIES  
JUDE LAW'S BLACK RABBIT
Netflix has announced some brand new series tonight including an hour long mini series BLACK RABBIT with Jude Law and Jason Bateman who will also direct a few episodes of the new series. In it, when the owner of a New York City hotspot (Bateman) allows his turbulent brother (Law) back in his life, he opens the door to escalating dangers that threaten to bring down everything he’s built.

Meanwhile, Netflix has also given a role of twins to Jamie Dornan in their new UK original series THE UNDERTOW a crime noir series that will see the Irishman play identical twins Adam and Lee. Suffocating in a loveless marriage to Adam, Nicola (Mackenzie Davis)’s life takes a dramatic turn when Adam’s long-estranged identical twin brother Lee comes crashing back into her life, and their tangled romantic past threatens to destroy the present.

They have also set Steven Knight to pen period set HOUSE OF GUINNESS about one of Europe’s most famous and enduring dynasties – The Guinness
Arthur Guinness also known as Ernest
Family. Set in 19th century Dublin and New York, it will focus on the consequences of the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his cunning will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the growing juggernaut that is one of the most beloved alcoholic drinks today.

  1. They all sound worthy of a watch. I'm most looking forward to Guinness though. Nasty beer, but it's fascinating how it's agreed that it's the only brand you must purchase in Ireland. Jason doesn't even like Guinness, but that's all he ordered while we were touring through. Because when in Rome (or Ireland)....

    2. Me either. I do like an occasional glass of wine and maybe a margarita or two once a year, but beer I never understood the appeal.

    1. Hope you will like his new series, Netflix has also ordered over 15 new German originals, but I did not find any of them interesting enough to report about them.
