JON CRYER, DONALD FAISON SITCOM EXTENDED FAMILY SET FOR AUTUMN AT NBC! IMELDA STAUNTON, HANNAH WADDINGHAM TO LEAD IRISH COMEDY MOVIE WEST THE ROAD! SEE SHIA LABEOUF AS A SAINT IN ABEL FERRARA'S HISTORICAL MOVIE PADRE PIO!

 EXTENDED FAMILY SITCOM
TO START AUTUMN AT NBC
Faced with the current strike of writers which could continue for a long time, NBC at least won't have to worry about their comedy hour as they've just added EXTENDED FAMILY multicamera sitcom to their Autumn schedule and it has been ordered to series long time ago. It will join their break out hit Night Court on Tuesday nights. Starring Jon Cryer, EXTENDED FAMILY is a new multicam comedy centered around the shifting family dynamics following a good-natured divorce — and the surprisingly hilarious moments that come with co-parenting. The gags on this comedy will be messy, endearing, and packed with hilarity, and you won't want to miss them! After an amicable divorce, Jim and Julia (Abigail Spencer) decide to continue to raise their kids at the family home while taking turns on who gets to stay with them. Navigating the waters of divorce and child-sharing gets more complicated for Jim when Trey (Donald Faison), the owner of his favorite sports team, enters the picture and wins Julia’s heart. Episodes will also stream on Peacock a day after the premiere.

While you are enjoying her gorgeous self at Eurosong tonight, Hannah Waddingham has got herself a gig in WEST THE ROAD movie with our dearest Imelda Staunton. Directed by Ita Fitzgerald, it will follow a group of women brought together by the death of a childhood friend. When they discover that she was forced to give her daughter up for adoption at the age of 15, the group embarks on a journey from the west of Ireland up the Wild Atlantic coastline, accompanied by a donkey called Thatcher, in search of the child.

 PADRE PIO MOVIE TRAILER
STARRING SHIA LABEOUF
The movie arrives to cinemas this summer
From Academy Award Winner Abel Ferrara comes powerful new historical drama movie PADRE PIO with Shia LaBeouf in the lead role. It is interesting that he converted to Catholicism during the shoot of the movie about the Roman Catholic Saint Padre Pio in his early years. After having a successful run at numerous movie festivals, the movie will slowly start opening in cinemas throughout the world with Russia in August and Northern American release scheduled for June 2nd. The story is set at the end of World War I, when Padre Pio begins his ministry at a remote monastery in southern Italy. Soon, his charisma and storied visions bring him fame.

  1. Love Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca in Ted Lasso.

    1. She's been Europe's absolute sweetheart this week with her brilliant hosting of Eurosong in Liverpool! What a babe she is.

  2. I think I will like Extended Family.

I do not like Shia's beard, but I do like him as an actor. Not sure I'd watch that film as I'm not much into anything with religion attached these days.

On a side note, Jason was approached today and someone said "It looks like you haven't been to church in awhile." Like, da hell? How can you just look at someone and think they haven't been to church in awhile? LOL

    1. If nothing else, at least we have three multicams to watch from Autumn, which is more than usual for me, just don't know how I will survive the summer as I only have Night Court season 1 to watch and I will finish that quickly.

Shia's film got very bad reviews, they say it looks unfinished and unpolished.

Has he been in a church recently LOL? I generally do not understand the ratio of religious people in your country. Here almost nobody ever goes to church except the few Croats.

    2. I admit, I haven't seen Shia in too many films. I did just watch Pieces of a Woman last week. Not the best movie, but I watchable and he was good in that one.

Let me know if Night Court is any good!

I don't get the obsession with religion here either. I do love Tennessee and hope to find property there some day, but once you get to the bible belt of the area, ooohhhh weee! Crosses as big as skyscrapers all over the place LOL. Most times people are respectful and leave their religion at the door, but then you get those zealots that want to stop you in the grocers parking lot to pray over your soul every now and again. Those are the ones I want to punch.

    3. And here in Europe the most Catholic countries are the ones that brought death to others in World Wars and had concentration camps in their territories.

    4. Yes, ignoring the thou shall not kill part of their good book. I love how they pick and choose which parts of their religion to follow when it suits them. You should see all of the nonsense about transgender people and drag shows and whatnot here lately. Talk about love thy neighbor, but they sure as hell don't like something as fun as a drag show or the people who participate. Hypocrisy at its finest and then they have the nerve to ask why I don't go to church.

    5. Yes, like that vile bitch Cameron Candace Boore.

  3. I like Shia LaBeouf but this seems like a strange role for him after some of the other roles he's had. it will be interesting to see if he can pull it off.

    1. Yes, he had that Nymphomaniac role which was purely pornographic with him having full explicit sex with the actress like in the hardcore porn movies. A bit weird for a saint LOL Ferrara was probably taking a piss with us when he did such a casting.
