Hamnet is getting a movie version

Chloe Zhao of Eternals and Nomadland, has been given the helm of the big screen adaptation of Maggie O'Farrell's HAMNET best selling historical fiction novel which imagines the story of Agnes – the wife of the world’s most famous writer, William Shakespeare – as she struggles to come to terms with the loss of her only son, Hamnet. The novel charts the emotional, familial and artistic consequences of that loss, bringing to life a human and heart-stopping story as the backdrop to the creation of Shakespeare’s most famous play, Hamlet.

Illumination has released the first teaser trailer for their new animated adventure MIGRATION which flies into cinemas December 22nd. Their 16th animated film follows family of ducks who try to convince their overprotective father to go on the vacation of a lifetime.
