The story chronicles their life together as Henry darts through time, appearing to Clare both in her childhood and in her old age.

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE
Recently deceased Anne Rice did not live up to see the small screen adaptation of her INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE but it is quite possible that the series which is currently shooting will air at the end of the year at AMC. It follows Louis de Pointe du Lac as he recounts how he was turned into a vampire and then mentored by Lestat de Lioncourt to be played by our dearest Sam Reid.

  1. I feel terrible none of them attracts me. I have outgrown movies, I need a sense of continuity that can only be found in series, and those series you describe don't seem riveting enough to pull me away from Continental material.

    1. I will watch All Quiet on the Western Front and Duchess of Malfi, and will probably check out that Sam Claflin series as I adore him. The Time Traveler will be a flop methinks as Rose is the worst possible choice for a lead, don't know who is more dull, she or her husband Kit. Mrs Harris Goes to Paris should be fun too and lighthearted.

    2. The Duchess of Malfi is soooo DARK. I've readf Remarque's novel and seen two adaptations. It's so sad, I don't have time for that. I wasnt'crazy about the book or the movie adaptation (although it had Eric Bana in it) so why waste my energy in this TTW? Yess, Rose is only one notch less dopey than her dear husband Jon Snow.

    3. The one with Bana wasn't great either, sadly.

  3. Eva Green's "the dreamers" was very popular film in couple of years ago. She was really so successful in that film. I am sure "the white bird" must be great.

  6. Well, I should have read this post before commenting on the last one LOL. So, The Nightingale did get made into film. Now, idk about the Fanning sisters as I am not a fan of either of them, so I may have to skip the movie if I really like the book in case they ruin it for me.
