After a very long period of not really giving anything new of importance to their viewers, Netflix is ready to launch a couple of new and old epic shows

Cowboy Bebop starts November 19th

in the last two months of the year and among them is  their new science fiction series COWBOY BEBOP for which they have just released a series of brand new character posters and a long official trailer after the confusing and cheap looking teasers released earlier this month. The ten episode series will star streaming November 19th based on the popular 90s anime show with John Cho playing the lead character Spike Spiegel. Mustafa Shakir is Jet Black and Daniella Pineda is Faye Valentine and there is also the space crew's little Corgi, Ein. The ten episode series was shot down in New Zealand with long delays due to Cho's injury at

the set. The cast will also include Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia. Geoff Stults will play Jet Black’s former co-detective Chalmers and Tamara Tunie will be Ana, the owner of a Mars based convenience store and a particularly insightful informant. The director of the original series is now serving as a consultant with the original composer scoring the live action adaptation as well. Austria is occupied by the Nazi regime. Shortly before the lawyer Bartok (Oliver Masucci) can flee to the USA with his wife Anna, he is arrested and taken to the Hotel Metropol, headquarters of the Gestapo. As the asset manager of the nobility, he is supposed to give the Gestapo leader Böhm access to accounts. Since Bartok refuses to cooperate, he is placed in solitary confinement. Bartok remained steadfast for weeks and months, but became increasingly desperate - until he happened upon a chess book. Check out the super exciting trailer below:

New film will follow T.A. Barron's saga

Although Ridley Scott was supposed to return to the medieval world after his Last Duel (which is currently proving to be a major flop in cinemas most probably for the worst casting the world has even seen outside the latest Dune snoozefest) he will be replaced by Michael Matthews (Love and Monsters) as Disney has hired him to helm their MERLIN movie, based on T. A. Barron's book series.  As Deadline reports, the film, which is in very early stages of production, will follow the origin story of a young Merlin who would go on to become the mentor of the classic literary character King Arthur.
