ReplyDeleteit is such a huge hit again thanks to Tic Toc. It has already been sold previously for adaptation and nothing happened and now Silvera is trying again.
DeleteHow long can a tv series run on this book? They are only alive for 24 hours in the book and then they both die. Unless they plan on doing a spin off of other people and their death days after they kill off those two characters, I don't know how far they can push this one. I did like the book, but it left me feeling quite pissed off since I had hoped beyond hope they would somehow skirt their deaths. When it didn't happen, I was sorely disappointed even though the title told you right from the beginning how it ends.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably be a limited series, deary. I've noticed that this book of his is very liked, but the other fantasy saga that he wrote has rather bad marks.
DeleteI'm not very into They Both Die at the End. Sounds like it would give me anxiety.. The second one sounds OK but fits the expression "Too soon?".

DeleteIt was a good book, but I know I felt some anxiety reading it as well. So many hopes going from chapter to chapter that just didn't pan out. It really is worth a read though if you don't mind feeling a little sad at the end.
