Based on the 19th century novel by Anna Sewell, this is a modern day reimagining of the timeless classic which follows Black Beauty (Kate Winslet), a wild horse born free in the American West. Rounded up and taken away from her family, Beauty is brought to Birtwick Stables where she meets a spirited teenage girl, Jo Green (Mackenzie Foy). Beauty and Jo forge an unbreakable bond that carries Beauty through the different chapters, challenges, and adventures of her life. Ashley Avis both directed and wrote the film.

MELISSA MCCARTHY IS SAVING THE WORLD FROM DOOM
And here's another film for you to watch in November, although I have a strange feeling most people will try to avoid this one after they see the

trailer. SUPER INTELLIGENCE with Melissa McCarthy will hit HBO Max November 26th also starring James Corden, Bobby Cannavale and Jean Smart. Nothing extraordinary ever happens to Carol Peters, so when she starts getting snarky backtalk from her TV, phone and microwave, she thinks she's being punk'd. Or losing her mind. In fact, the world's first super intelligence has selected her for observation, taking over her life with a bigger, more ominous plan to take over everything. Now Carol is humanity's last chance before this artificial intelligence-with-an-attitude decides to pull the plug.

  1. I’m all in on both of these! I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I love Melissa McCarthy and James Corden. I’m already laughing and it’s just the trailer. The bean bag chair scene and the giant oven mitt outfit made me laugh out loud.

    1. I've noticed that most people in USA hates Corden, I'm impartial, but also cannot say I love him. I had a totally different reaction to the bean bag LOL I was rolling my eyes massively. I think it will do better at HBO Max than it would in cinemas.

    4. I think I'm with you on James Corden. I sometimes like him, I sometimes find him annoying, but mostly, he's just meh.

    5. Yes, mostly not funny at all, he was terrible in INTO THE WOODS movie.

    6. You made me laugh with the last comment. I somehow convinced my husband to watch that with me. A minute into the first song and he jumped up, walked away, and never came back. LOL In his defense, I probably should have shut it off since it was awful.

    7. I expected that it would be an avalanche of shit since it was directed by Rob Marshall, but it was shittier than I thought.

  2. Yes to Black Beauty. Super Intelligent looks unforgettable though, as are most of McCarthy's movies these days.
