GETS A JULY AIRING DATE
Here is something else we will be able to watch this summer: although rumours said ABC would probably save it for the barren Autumn TV
landscape, they've given their new multi camera sitcom UNITED WE FALL a July 15th start date, which is Wednesday nights. It will premiere with two back to back episodes which will also be available next day on Hulu. Parenting can be tough. Throw some overzealous extended family members into the mix and chaos will undoubtedly ensue for Will Sasso, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Guillermo Diaz and Jane Curtin who lead the cast.

DeleteReally? I hope they aren't as judgmental as my family! I spent two hours with my family on Saturday and they made about 1000 comments to make up for the 3 months without them. LOL

DeleteUnited We Fall is one I think we'll enjoy. We will be thankful that our family is not living under our roof because we'd surely go mad then. I'm sorry you have to deal with yours daily. I imagine you have some good liquors stashed away for when they get to be too much to handle.
ReplyDeleteThe sad thing is I don't have any benefits from mine, most families have benefits from grandma who cooks lunch for the family, grandpa who plants veggies for the family, moma who is crafty, daddy who is handy, I've never had any of that, sadly. Just traumas and lifelong mental garbage to live with LOL
DeleteIf it makes you feel any better, I didn't know my paternal grandparents as they died before I was born. Maternal grandma was a good woman, but very religious and would rather spend time at church or helping the less fortunate than make time for her grandkids (unless they were in distress and she could swoop in and save the day). Grandpa was always uncomfortable around the granddaughters, but had no problem with the grandsons taking them out to do things. I didn't know my dad until I was 10, and even then he rather would have been at work or playing bingo than make time for me. And mom, well, she did the best she could even though it often wasn't enough. I'd say you and I didn't have ideal upbringings, but somehow I think that made us stronger, better people than most. We didn't fail because of their shortcomings, but thrived in spite of them.
DeleteYes, but it was a very thin line between us failing and not failing LOL I guess we realized very early that all depends on us and that nobody would shed a tear if we fail, so we just had to fight, there was no other option. And failing is for me an embarrassment so it is not acceptable.
