  1. Ordinarily, I love any WW2 movie but this one looks "meh" to me.

    1. It's kinda on the cheap side, admittedly, I'll watch it for our dear Tomzie.

  2. This is something that I'd normally watch, but I won't because of the actor. I know he was cleared of sexual abuse charges, but there's something him and the situation that didn't sit right with me. Maybe his arrogance in interviews?

    1. I felt sorry for him as he lost jobs during that horrid ordeal and even though the court proved he is innocent he won't be repaid for what he lost and those horrid women won't be punished for their lying, sadly. I remember that he was literally erased from a BBC's Agatha Christie series and his scenes were shot again with a new actor. He never got an apology for that and this will haunt him for the rest of his life. Lying should be very punishable.

    2. I agree that it should be punishable. I tell all of my male peers to never be alone with a woman because all it takes is one claim and they are done! But there's still something about him that rubs me the wrong way. He just always appears so smug.

    3. I haven't watched his interviews, some of them do think they're more attractive if they look full of themselves :)

    4. Yes, he has an air of being a douche bag about him. Very arrogant from what I've seen of him, which is so unattractive.

    5. It seems to be the desirable and preferable quality in stars.

  4. I saw Ed Westwick's posts wearing the uniform on his IG as well as shoots about this upcoming film but it's great to finally see the trailer here. I haven't been aware of what happened to him. Now I understand why he unfortunately didn't appear in more projects while his co stars seem to all have successfully moved on after Gossip Girl.

    1. Did he go to army? I was released from serving army due to my poor ticky ticker, but only about ten years ago you had to go to army for a year after turning 18 :(

    2. No, he was never military. It’s not required here, thankfully, though many will enlist since it pays for higher learning if you do.

    3. But that is paid service, this is obligatory one pretty much the same as a year prison or even harder as they make you do physical stuff, march, and such horrid things. Many here support it and want it back as it, allegedly, turns boys into men, but if your lil' brat is uncontrollable and you want the army to teach him discipline why should all the good boys suffer too? It's inhumane, especially in our conditions where their health gets ruined as the facilities are horrid, food atrocious etc. Many return from it with lifelong problems and forever changed.

    4. It's not right to force anyone into the military, even just for a year. I would never want to join, or send my children, to fight for wars that I don't believe in. If we were ever truly under immediate threat, there are plenty who would join the cause to defend the nation. Sending our sons and daughter's off to die to line the pockets of oil tycoons and politicians is not my idea of defending the land of the free. I am glad you weren't forced to serve, though not glad that you got out of it because of your heart issues. Though, I supposed a bad ticker actually saved you there.

    5. It saved either me or the army LOL I cannot for the life of me imagine myself in the army, unless I'm there to massage soldiers.
