  1. I hope those two young women manage to run off with each other in "Portrait of a Lady on Fire."

  2. Well, the french language is the winner in both movies.

The title Portrait of a Lady brings to mind two famous novels Portrait of an Artist (as a young man) by James Joyce, and Portrait of an Artist (as an old man) by Joseph Heller. Both estethique and...boring.
The same applies to the above movie : estethique and...boring.

The Casanova movie sounds surprising . The big seducer brought to despair by a woman! Hahaha.

    1. There was also A Portrait of a Lady by Henry James, an equally deadly boring writer if there ever was one :) I generally find artsy French dramas boring, they often seem to exist just for themselves not for the audience.

    1. French people do like to show their bums, tits and willies in their movies... which we approve of! Did you see Chris Pratt's scorched nekkid bum last weekend? He posted it on his Instagram.
