PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON $200 MILLION EPIC ADVENTURE ALITA BATTLE ANGEL FROM JAMES CAMERON FEATURING A CGI RENDERED LEAD!

ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL
 AN ANGEL FALLS, WARRIOR RISES
Alita is finally arriving this February!
This one definitely had to go through a very rough and tough way in order to finally get into cinemas February 14th! ALITA: BATTLE ANGEL took more than two decades to be made: James Cameron wanted to direct it himself and it was his passion project for a long time, but he had to give the helm over to Robert Rodriguez because of his commitments to Avatar sequels. Then there was also lots of trouble finding the actors (Jack Lowden, Douglas Booth and many actresses were in the run for the leads). Now the movie is finally here after the whooping sum of almost $200 million was spent on its

ALITA IS A CREATION
from an age of despair. Found by the mysterious Dr. Ido (Christoph Waltz) while trolling for cyborg parts, Alita (Rosa Salazar) becomes a lethal, dangerous being. She cannot remember who she is, or where she came from. But to Dr. Ido, the truth is all too clear. She is the one being who can break the cycle of death and destruction left behind from Tiphares. But to accomplish her true purpose, she must fight and kill. And that is where Alita's true significance comes to bear. She is an angel from heaven. She is an angel of death. ALITA BATTLE ANGEL follows the story of the titular Alita, a disembodied "core"

  1. I dislike movies by James Cameron. They're too CGI-heavy and usually have very weak scripts. Manga eyes look great in manga, but creepy as a CGI effect in movies.

    1. and the most important thing - most of his stories are a mix of other stolen ones, and very mediocre. Avatar was literally a mix of million other things we've seen before.

  2. Another movie about an imaginary world, a girl with manga eyes and steel arms, battles, love, etc..
It may not appeal to me, but it is the "passion project" of a famous director, and hundreds, thousands, perhaps, are expecting to view it; so, I wish them all full enjoyment.

    1. twould be sad if it flops as they've waisted so much money in it... your and my country's joint yearly budget possibly :)

  3. 200 million for one movie is insane. Maybe it does well and I'm wrong, but I don't expect this one to get much traction here in the states. Those eyes are creepy AF! Definitely not a film for me.

    1. the marketing certainly hasn't been big so far and the release date is just around the corner. I've always thought it was sickness using that much money, especially as they give it to directors who are certified bad as Rodriguez is. But then again, the audience does not deserve any better in my humble opinion, either.

    2. I haven't seen any advertisement for it. The only place I've heard about it is here. Maybe they'll run ads during the Super Bowl to reach maximum eyeballs.

    3. it is kinda too late for any marketing now as it is just two weeks before the big release.
