1809, France. Captain Neuville is called to the front, leaving his future bride heartbroken. Her sister decides to write letters on his behalf to cheer her up. But it all goes south when Neuville reappears.

Meanwhile, up a bit northern, straight from the kingdom of Holland, comes a rather exciting first trailer for their English language epic adventure REDBAD which hits domestic cinemas in Netherlands this June rich with battles and horse riding... and even swimming!  700 AD. Northern Europe is divided into two worlds: the Frisians, Saxons and Danes live above the rivers, below the rivers live the Franks. They want to achieve what even the Romans did not
The story of Redbad is set in the long past 8th century
succeed: conquer all of Europe. They put in a new weapon to enslave the Gentiles: Christianity. They target Europe's main trading centre, where the Frisian king Aldigisl rules.

  2. I think it's time Hollywood got knocked out of the water. They haven't had much to brag about for some time. Nice of you to still keep us updated with worthwhile films while they have their heads up their asses.

    1. they just revealed last night that last year US cinema revenue was the lowest in many years... I mean how many unoriginal superhero films can you stuff down people's throats?

    2. I believe it! Crappy superhero films and stars that can't keep their mouths shut about political issues. I don't think it's too much to ask for original scripts and celebs to just do their jobs, not shove their beliefs down our throats.
