RICHARD ARMITAGE IN "CATEGORY SIX" TORNADO FILM! WILL "THE WALKING DEAD" LORI DIE IN THE 3RD SEASON? "JOE GOLEM AND THE DROWNING CITY" ADVENTURE FILM! MAGIC MIKE SEQUEL!

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
According to "Entertainment Weekly", THE HOBBIT and ROBIN HOOD star Richard Armitage has been cast in tornado thriller CATEGORY SIX which centres on the worst tornado in American history, as captured by a group of local high school students through their cell phones and other devices. Richard Armitage is playing a widowed father, who enlists the help of storm chasers to find his missing son. The most irritating actress from THE WALKING DEAD Sarah Wayne Callies has also been cast in the film, which might be a good news, since the shooting of the film is parallel to the shooting of the AMC show meaning that her character horrid Lori might not survive the end of the third season :)

THE DROWNING CITY
And straight from Comic Con comes the news that graphic novel JOE GOLEM AND
THE DROWNING CITY will be adapted into a film by Constantin film. The Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden novel to be adapted by Alex Proyas is set in 1970's Manhattan, where earthquakes and rising sea levels left the city under water fifty years earlier. It follows a fourteen year old girl, who is forced to go on the run after her magician friend, Felix Orlov, gets kidnapped by a group of strange men wearing gas masks and rubber suits. She escapes only to find herself in the company of Joe Golem, a mysterious man who does not remember his past.

  1. I think Olivia Wilde is drop dead sexy! I'm so happy to see her career taking off after she left House.

I'm not surprised in the least that Magic Mike is coming around again =PP The ladies in my area are still packing the theaters, they are crazy for it!!

    1. she has quite a lot of films ahead of her, but unfortunatelly none of them are big... she usually goes unnoticed in them :(

Yep, ladies are still talking and buzzing about the film :))

  2. YIPPEEEE! Let's hope she dies a horrible death, actually she would drag that out. Chop of her head like Prison Break and leave it off this time. That be that. Be such a better show without her whiny self.

Joe Golem sounds interesting as well. See in another reality you did move to NY and in sunk, good job. haha

    1. hold your G-strings, cat, it doesn't mean they really will kill her off, it's just a hopeful possibility ... we shall pray every night....

Pffft.... it's would be just my luck for NY to drown after I finally get my paws on it..

    2. The cat doesnt need the gstring. Too stringy. Maybe they can use it to hang her though.

    3. Somehow NY managed to survive your visit Cat. Although I have heard there's an outbreak of plague. At first they thought it was coming from the fleas on their giant sewer rats, but further analysis has reveled that the fleas are of a type found only in Canada. They should have de-loused you when you came across the border, but they screwed up and only checked you for residue from explosives. Idiots.

you mean they didn't find explosives on him? Or in him? But what about all of his stinky bombs?

    6. The stinky bombs are covered in pringle cans with a special coating that they can't find, so they got in fine. And yippee the fleas worked, just another step in my take over.

    7. They are on the alert for you now cat. Jax planted a GPS underneath your skin while you were there and we just tracked you to the lair of your Viking woman. Disgusting, vile creature.

  4. "Joe Gollem seems to be interesting, for the others films or series, I have no idea of what it is and the movie with Richard Armitage have gives me the feeling of "déjà vu" (do you think that the father would not find his son alive??????? (at the end or just before!)

    1. that Armitage's film will be found footage type of film, which is why we probably won't watch it :)

  5. I love Armitage but I'm not sure I want to watch a film about Tornadoes. It will probably do well in the theatres though.

    1. it might not, since it will be a found footage film and those are usually smaller scale :)

  6. Such different and varied projects today. And what a stern looking Mr. Armitage, though still so very handsome. :)

  7. Here's a daily dose of trivia -- the Jewish concept of the "Golem" is where Tolkien got the name "Gollum" from for his similarly haunted creature.

  11. I'm going to say something close to sacrilege now. I could give a fat rats ass about Magic Mike. Just from the trailers this looks crass. Now I could be horribly, horribly wrong. I'm comparing it to "The Full Monty" which dealt with male strippers, but did it with delightful wit and style.

If I'm wrong about this movie darling, please correct me as there may be something I'm missing here.

    1. I haven't seen it, darling. Judging from the trailer it does have an inspirational note, about him trying to succeed as an artist as well, and there's a lovely love story to it, but I haven't seen the film myself yet. I hear ladies go two or three times to watch it.

    2. Well darling you know how I love swimming against the tide. If so many people like it, it can't be good.

    3. well, at least there's some bulging goodness in it :)

  12. If Lori dies in season three, they either cover a lot of ground time-wise or they change the way she dies. In the comic, her death was spectacularly awful, but only because of the baby.

    1. we shall keep our fingers crossed, maybe she will get just a short break from the show to shoot this film and won't die at all.... but hopefully she dies, because the fans hate her
