CHRIS HEMSWORTH "IN THE HEART OF THE SEA"! ZIYI ZHANG JOINS HENRY CAVILL IN "THE GREAT WALL" EPIC! "METHUSELAH" ADVENTURE FILM! TRAILER FOR WW2 FILM "WAR OF THE BUTTONS"

He is now everybody's favourite huntsman and also everybody's favourite Thor, and will now move straight onto the sea: according to "MovieWeb" Chris Hemsworth has boarded IN THE HEART OF THE SEA which will be an adventurous period set movie adaptation of Nathanial Philbrick's non-fiction book of the same name in which the story revolves around a Nantucket whaling ship which was destroyed by a sperm whale in 1820. Only eight crew members were rescued alive, after being lost at sea for 90 days. This real event actually inspired Herman Melville to write his  famous novel "Moby Dick". Barry Levinson and Edward Zwick have been mentioned as possible directors.

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
Only two days ago I've told you that Henry Cavill and Benjamin Walker will star in Edward Zwick's supernatural adventure THE GREAT WALL and now, according to "Deadline" it seems that controversial Chinese star Ziyi Zhang is being courted for a female role in the film set in 15th century China and following British warriors who
happen upon the hurried construction of the massive wall. As night falls, the warriors realize that the haste in building the wall isn't just to keep out the Mongols - there is something inhuman and more dangerous. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is preparing METHUSELAH, an action adventure film about a 1,000-year-old man who has spent his time on the planet to build an unparalleled set of skills for survival.

Your trailer for today is for a touching drama which The Weinstein Company is ready to release in cinemas this July. WAR OF THE BUTTONS  is  set in occupied WWII France and  tells the tale of
pre-teen rebel Lebrac (newcomer Jean Texier) and the "war" he leads between two rival kid gangs from neighboring villages. Once Lebrac falls for Violette (Ilona Bachelier), a young Jewish girl who is new in town and in danger of being exposed by the Nazis, the children are faced with putting their own conflicts aside to protect her and confront the very real war happening around them. Directed by Academy Award nominee Christophe Barratier ("The Chorus") WAR OF THE BUTTONS features model/actress Laetitia Casta ("Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life", "Arbitrage"), actor/filmmaker Guillaume Canet ("Farewell", "Tell No One") and "Welcome to the Sticks" star Kad Merad. The film is produced and co-written by Thomas Langmann (Academy Award winner for "The Artist").

Sorry for today's post being a bit late, we had a horrid storm yesterday in my city and a total power cut prevented me from accessing the net!

    2. Hemsworth would have to loose a LOT of weight for this role... I mean the sailors literally get so hungry they start to resort to cannibalism. Hemsworth is a pretty big dude!
