2ND TRAILER FOR "THE VOW" WITH CHANNING TATUM & RACHEL MCADAMS. AMY ADAMS HAVING "TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE"? "WOODY WOODPECKER" & "THE MUNSTERS" REMAKES! WHAT'S NEW FOR "THE WALKING DEAD'S" DARYL?

 One of the actors who is definitely having a breakthrough year (even though he's 40+) is super talented Norman Reedus. Beside winning the spotlight in Lady Gaga's video for her JUDAS
mega hit, and starring in AMC hit show THE WALKING DEAD, in which he is portraying probably the most popular character, he is now getting new movie roles too. According to "Variety" he will appear next to Matt Dillon in SUNLIGHT JR. He will play Naomi Watt's ex boyfriend in the story which revolves around a Florida couple dealing with an unexpected pregnancy while holding minimum wage jobs. As you remember you've seen Norman in THE BOONDOCK SAINTS too, and he is scheduled to star in NIGHT OF THE TEMPLAR as well, a film about a medieval knight who resurrects to fulfill his vow and bestow a blood-thirst vengeance upon the kindred spirits of those who betrayed him long ago.

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
Now, I really don't like Clint Eastwood's films, they are deeply unappealing to me, but I do love Amy Adams and according to "MovieWeb" she has just been offered the lead role in TROUBLE
WITH THE CURVE
, a drama in which the story centers on Eastwood's character, a baseball scout who is beginning to lose his sight. He brings his daughter (Amy Adams) along on a scouting trip to Atlanta, so he can take a look at a young prospect. And when it comes to THE HUNGER GAMES which some of you like a lot, the producers want the 2nd part in the saga CATCHING FIRE to be written by Simon Beaufoy the screenwriter of famous THE SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. Two of the classics which are getting remakes are WOODY WOODPECKER, which Universal wants to turn into an animated film, and THE MUNSTERS, the famous 60's series about a weird family of monsters which will now get a new pilot on NBC thanks to PUSHING DAISIES creator Bryan Fuller

Continuing the week of really great trailers, I have for you today the second trailer for the long awaited drama THE VOW which many of my ladies
are smitten by. Hitting cinemas next February with quite and interesting cast including Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams, Scott Speedman, Sam Neill and Jessica Lange, the film is based on a true story about a young woman who loses all recent memory in a car accident and struggles to rebuild her identity while her husband tries to win her heart for the second time. The problem is that her ex boyfriend also appears trying to use her lack of memory and her sudden loss of love for her new husband, to win her over again. As you can see in the trailer it seems Channing is really giving his best in this one, while McAdams is sporting some really nasty hairdos in the film :)

  1. lol, they want to remake the Munsters??? Something new would be great. Completely new.

    The Vow, of course, looks wonderful. Gotta love the occasional chick flick.

  2. I must admit I've never heard of The Munsters before, so they are new to me :) And yes, romantic movies are always great as a source of hope and positive energy.

  4. Remaking the Munsters is just wrong, woody wood pecker I can sorta see. Agree Clint Eastwood movies are okay to watch maybe once but their not really movies I'd ever want to watch again. Although the first couple Dirty Harry ones were fine.

  5. They'll never recreate that same campy vibe that made The Munsters so much fun to watch.

  6. Yay Darryl!!! Hell, yes, Norman is my fave on Walking Dead. He's rockin' that ear necklace. ;))

    Loved The Munsters, but not sure a new cast can bring the same charm, but you never know.

  8. I can't stand Woody Woodpecker and can any actor adequately replace the wonderful Fred Gwynn as Herman Munster.

    I do, Lizzy :) but must cakes are quite unique since they are my own creation, I never follow other people's recipes when it comes to baking :) I'm sure you will like some of the cakes over at Facebook :)

    yep, but I didn't mean just the films Eastwood starred in, but mostly the ones he directed. They are all too American for me, with very local topics and boring stories and he has a thing for bad actors (like Hilary Swank for example)

  15. @Luanne
    I've never seen the show myself :)

    @Melsy
    THE WALKING DEAD would be boring without Daryl. I've noticed that they generally have quite bad characters, non of them is really likable, but Daryl and that Asian guy have some special charms.

    @Cesta
    he he that a pic from the past, back when he was a model, it's interesting that he was quite popular among famous designers, he has that unusual look.

    ah, tell me about it, back as a kid I hated when they would air Woody Woodpecker in the time slot for evening cartoon. I preferred TOM AND JERRY and POPEYE and BUG BUNNY

    @DWei
    me too!

    @Rgers
    it does seem like a very touching story

  18. I watched The Vow, and even though it's something my husband would like rather than me, I like how it's based on a true story. The Amy Adams movie looks good but I'm like you, not really a fan of Eastwood films.

    @Josh
    he was great in it, and Sean Patrick Flannery is also one of my favourite actors ever, and I'm extremely sad that he isn't a bigger star. I've always loved him a lot

    @Pesos
