THRILLING TRAILER FOR MEDIEVAL EPIC "IRONCLAD"! KIRSTEN DUNST IS "BACHELORETTE"! ORLANDO BLOOM IN "LOLA VERSUS". VAN DAMME JOINS STALLONE, STATHAM & WILLIS IN "EXPENDABLES 2"

This could possibly turn into a hilarious comedy: Kirsten Dunst will star in Will Ferrell's comedy BACHELORETTE which will
revolve around three best friends who are invited to act as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they called "Pigface" in high school. The third best friend hasn't been cast yet, but Kirsten Dunst's character will be crisp and severe, and she is referred to as your best friend and your worst enemy, while the second friend will be played by Lizzy Caplan who will play a girl with a Playboy Bunny body and a Larry David brain.
SHORT HEADLINES *Greta Gerwig and Orlando Bloom will star in romantic comedy LOLA VERSUS about a woman who is dumped just weeks before her wedding by her college sweetheart
(Bloom)prompting her to embark on a series of encounters in an attempt to discover her place in the world as a single woman before she turns 30. *Warner Bros. is planning on doing a TARZAN film again, but they are searching for some new unique approach to the old story. *It seems that Sylvester Stallone's THE EXPENDABLES 2, will bring all of the biggest action stars from the early 90's back to the big screen: Jean Claude Van Damme has just been added as the villain beside another villain to be played by Bruce Willis.  The film will also have Jason Statham to add to the muscle power.

Now, HOLLYWOOD SPY has written many times about medieval epic IRONCLAD but you can check out a thrilling new trailer for this films which premieres in USA in July. With stunning cast
including James Purefoy, Paul Giamatti, Brian Cox, Robert Carlyle, William Moseley, Jason Flemyng, Bob Hoskins, Derec Jacobi, Pete Postlethwaite and Kate Mara IRONCLAD is set in 1215 when the rebel barons of England have forced their despised King John to put his royal seal to the Magna Carta, a noble, seminal document that upheld the rights of free-men. Yet within months of pledging himself to the great charter, the King reneged on his word and assembled a mercenary army on the south coast of England with the intention of bringing the barons and the country back under his tyrannical rule. Barring his way stood the mighty Rochester castle, a place that would become the symbol of the rebel's momentous struggle for justice and freedom.

  5. Lola Versus...Boo hoo, another movie about a poor pretty girl who can't bear turning 30 all alone. Gag!

    Can't wait for Ironclad. Now that looks like one truly epic screen adventure. And I love James Purefoy.

  6. Van Damme? Awesome!!! No, not really. Probably one of the most horrible actors of all action stars there is. Of course he'll fit right in with half the cast that Stallone gathers for these horrible movies.

    No way in the world I'd watch a Part 2. I couldn't even make it through the first one before having to just turn it off due to lack of interest and too much time making me cringe.

  8. Ironclad looks good for a movie night-in. Why are they bothering with Expendables 2? The first was all kinds of dreadful.

    ah, sister, don't wanna sound pathetic :) but I can certainly relate to poor Lola :(((
    And we love us some Purefoy any time :)

    @JL
    Yep, Ban Bamme is certainly a bad actor :) but all action stars are bad actors. The only ones who have at least some amount of charm and warmth are Diesel, Statham and Rock :)

  13. Yay for Purefoy! If it were up to me, that guy will be a lot busier as an actor. I like swords & sandals flick, but I'll wait for the reviews whether I'm gonna see it in the cinema.

    Ahah, so Van Damme finally relents to join Expendables. Can't say I'm surprised, he belongs w/ that whole lot anyway, and he's no stranger to bad scripts. Don't see it Dez, it's the worst film I saw last year!

  14. I love historical films too, although I know most people don't like them because they find them too challenging.
    I'm not planning on watching anything with Sly :)
