NEW POSTERS FOR "ROBIN HOOD" AND "THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE"

Boring Monday brings us just two new movie posters. Another poster for Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" finally shows some Cate Blanchett. The movie is out May 14th. If you click on the image above you will also see the first poster for Nicolas Cage's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", fantasy adventure coming out to cinemas July 16th.

  1. Poor Nicolas, let's hope this unusual role makes him kind of interesting in the end... Success and nice filmography's far from him now.

  3. yes, yes poor Nicolas, it's interesting how instead of writing about his movies (which keep getting less and less interesting) the press is talking these days about how he just bought himself a pyramid shaped tomb in which he wants to be buried one day. Now, how weird is that?

  4. I wish I could get excited about Robin Hood. I really do. But after Kevin Costner did it I just can't muster up the energy anymore...

  5. Nicolas Cage, wants to be buried in a pyramid shaped tomb?

Hmm...I always thought he was mad.

Let's hope the movie is more sound than his mind :)

  6. I hear you Maurice, and have no remedy for your pains, it's the whole epidemic :)

Ah, Wendy, as if you needed a proof from me to conclude that about Nicolas Cage :PP

  8. I'm not particularly excited about Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood", although I like his directing style a lot. Robin Hood theme is just too trite. Another reason is I hate Russel Crowe. He's THE MOST OVERRATED ACTOR EVER! Period.

"The Sorcerer's Apprentice"'s poster is magical and beautiful as was the trailer, so bring it on! :)

  9. I'm glad you have something to look forward to this summer in cinemas, Castor :)

I will agree with you, Neb, although I can't express my indifference towards Russell too openly since one of my dearest blog-buddies is his huge fan :)

  10. For sure, Nicolas Cage was great enough in "Kick Ass"! And The Sorcerer's Apprentice poster looks pretty decent, especially that dragon ring is cool.
