It does not yet have a title but John Lee Hancock's Netflix movie on Monsanto has a strong cast. Joining Jonathan Bailey and Laura Dern are Greg Kinnear and David Duchovny. The courtroom drama is based on the true story of Brent Wisner (Jonathan Bailey), a young, untried attorney
who takes on a seemingly insurmountable case against Monsanto on behalf of Dewayne “Lee” Johnson. Wisner’s client alleged that he developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma as a result of his exposure to Monsanto’s best-known product, the weed and grass pesticide killer Roundup, through his job as a high school groundskeeper.

DeleteThis casting lineup is absolutely stellar, and a courtroom drama covering the Monsanto Roundup trials is sure to be incredibly intense and gripping. Putting Jonathan Bailey in the lead as a young attorney fighting a massive corporate giant alongside heavy hitters like Laura Dern, Greg Kinnear, and David Duchovny is going to make for some phenomenal, high-stakes screen chemistry.

DeleteI don't know any contemporary American actors at all. Frankly, they don't interest me at all. A lot of films have been made in Russia lately: detective stories, romantic stories, historical films, and films about love and friendship.
