JOSH HARTNETT TO LEAD
NEWFOUNDLAND SET SERIES AT NETFLIX
We do not yet have the title, but as Deadline reports, Josh Hartnett is set to lead limited series set at Newfoundland over at Netflix. In the six episode series, created by Jesse McKeown, we shall see a mysterious sea
creature terrorizing a remote Newfoundland town, and Hartnett will play a hard-bitten fisherman who must fight to protect his family, his community, and his vanishing way of life. The series will be filmed over in Canada.

That's beautiful picture. Don't think I will be watching this not because we don't have Netflix anymore, but computer created monster films or series ain't my thing.
ReplyDeleteHe has a whole photo shoot with animals, I opted between this and him with a lamb LOL
Indeed, it should be very suspenseful and action packed too.
DeleteIt’s exciting to hear about stories that dive into remote communities and their struggles, especially when they reflect a way of life that’s fading. Josh Hartnett leading this Newfoundland series sounds like a powerful way to bring those themes to the screen with heart and grit.

He had a number of very intense roles in indie films recently, creating a world for himself outside of A league studios.
DeleteI'll subscribe to Netflix again when Enola Holmes 3 comes out.
ReplyDeleteIs that this year? I cannot stand the actress, so I have never watched the previous installments.
DeleteI like Josh. I just watched a movie Called Trap where he played a serial killer and it was really good. I will watch this.
ReplyDeleteYes, the one where he is the dad, the end was ridiculous, though LOL
DeleteYes, it was good until the end. Still kept me watching. lol
DeleteI thought we might get a sequel from that one.
DeleteGracias por la reseña. Tomó nota. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteBe welcome.
DeleteIt's nice to see Hartnett back in many projects. He had a nice long break where we all completely forgot about him. But he seems to have gotten his second wind this past year or two.
ReplyDeleteHe is very interesting when you watch him, very captivating, has that something something.
