FIRST TRAILER FOR NEW CRIME DRAMA ART DETECTIVES WITH STEPHEN MOYER SET IN THE WORLD OF ART THEFTS

    ART DETECTIVES
FIRST TRAILER FOR THE NEW SERIES
The series will hit the small screens this June
It won't hit Acorn TV before June 9th but we already have first trailer for ART DETECTIVES six episode crime mini series set in  the Heritage Crime Unit, a police department consisting of art loving DI Mick Palmer (Stephen Moyer) and straight-talking DC Shazia Malik (Nina Singh). Together, they solve murders connected to the world of art and antiques, from Old Master paintings, to Banksy street art, medieval manuscripts and collectible vinyl. Throughout the season, the artfully astute detectives encounter a fake Vermeer, Viking gold, a rare Chinese vase and items rescued from the Titanic. In a rich and colourful world driven by greed, obsession, lust and revenge, Mick navigates these demanding cases while managing a budding romance with museum curator Rosa (Sarah Alexander) and the sudden reappearance of his charismatic father, Ron (Larry Lamb), who just happens to be one of Britain’s most notorious forgers.

  1. Documentario affascinante e leggero che segue le indagini su opere d'arte rubate o scomparse, mescolando storia, mistero e passione per il bello. Un racconto coinvolgente per chi ama l’arte e le sue storie nascoste.
    Un caro saluto

    1. No, this is not a documentary, but a live action series, Silvia.

  2. I have never heard of Acorn TV before...I would love to watch this though I am not sure Stephen Moyer is the ideal one for the role.

    1. I covered Acorn many times before, you forgot, they are an American streamer but look like a British channel with cosy mysteries and detective shows.

  3. Stealing art is wild to me. It's not like you could show it off or even display it because even the maids could turn you in for having it in your possession.

    1. Oh, there are billionaires who buy them to keep them for themselves in their hidden residences, there is a rich market for it. Also for stolen ancient artefacts.
