And they play presidents! We have a trailer today for comedy movie HEADS OF STATE which will hit Prime Video July 2nd! It follows two government
leaders who must set aside their rivalry to thwart a global conspiracy and save the world, if they can work together. Elba plays UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke, with Cena as U.S. President. When the duo become the targets of a powerful and ruthless foreign adversary, who proves more than a match for the two leaders’ security forces, they are begrudgingly forced to rely on the only two people they can trust: each other. Along their journey to save the free world, they find a key ally in Noel Bisset, a brilliant MI6 agent played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The cast also has Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Richard Coyle and Paddy Considine.

As much as I like Elba, this kind of comedy movie isn't for us. We are watching a Swedish thriller series The Glass Dome....a rather short one, just 6 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be a massive hit as they are releasing it at Independence Day holidays. Yes, I thought Glass Dome was really about a dome, but it isn't so I did not promote it here. Looked boring to me.

DeleteUgh! I never thought Idris would stoop to this kind of a cheap thrills movie. I always took him as a more serious actor. It's the perfect kind of film for Cena because this is the type of character he always plays, but for Idris, I don't like it.
ReplyDeleteCena is very cute in it, playing the opposite of what he usually is LOL I would watch it for him but PriYanka is a no no for me.
