If you are looking for a new medical drama to watch Netflix has set April 3rd launch date for ten episode series PULSE from Carlton Cuse. The new series starts at a moment when a hurricane is bearing down on Miami’s top trauma center and third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald) is thrust into a leadership role when Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell) is suspended. As the storm intensifies and the ER locks down, Danny and Phillips must navigate both a flood of trauma cases and the fallout of their secret romance. Meanwhile, their colleagues juggle personal and professional challenges, where saving lives is often easier than managing their own. Justina Machado stars as Dr. Natalie Cruz, a politically savvy doctor who oversees both administration and medicine as the Chair of Surgery and Emergency Medicine.

  1. I am going to give this medical series a try...hopefully it wouldn't end up another lengthy one like EM or Grey's Anatomy.

    1. I think this one was not envisioned as the long 20 episode series like those two.

  3. Allison has been begging me to watch Grey's Anatomy with her for over a year. Nope, not investing in a show that's run for more than 20 years. This, however, I think we'd be good with watching together.

    1. I think I tried back in the days but found it not very engaging.
