Well, I am sad to admit it looks terrible: the first trailer for MGM+ EARTH ABIDES series is out announcing the series which starts December 1st starring Alexander Ludwig and Aaron Tveit. When a plague of unprecedented virulence sweeps the globe, the human race is all but 
wiped out. In the aftermath, as the great machine of civilization slowly and inexorably breaks down, only a few shattered survivors remain to struggle against the slide into extinction. It will also stream on Stan in Australia.

The first few seconds of trailer wasn't too bad, at least it has got my attention :-)

DeleteI don't think it looked too awful. Not something that I'll tune in for, but not completely unwatchable. I think Ludwig is a cute kid. Kind of reminds me of a young Skarsgard.
ReplyDeleteHe is hot I just don't see him with that woman who looks more like she could be his stepmother or something, I don't buy their romance so I cannot see myself watching it.
DeleteThe pairing was odd. I thought the same, she was way too old for him. But maybe that's the point. When you think you're the last two people on the planet, you form a romantic bond?
