POMPEII SERIES SET AT AMAZON
According to Variety, Amazon is planning to adapt A DAY OF FIRE: A POMPEII NOVEL into a mini TV series with Vikings and Tudors Michael Hirst set as writer, executive producer, and showrunner together with Horatio Hirst and with Ridley Scott as a producer. Written by Kate 
Quinn, Stephanie Dray, Ben Kane, Eliza Knight, Sophie Perinot, and Vicky Alvear, the book takes place in the lead up to the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, which utterly destroyed Pompeii and killed many of its residents. It tells a series of overlapping stories of people living in Pompeii and what their lives were like before fire rained down from the sky.

I would love to visit Pompeii! This could be quite an interesting one.

DeleteSo many writers! Frankly, I'm done with these Pompeii series, just stick to Bulwer Lytton's novel.

DeleteYes, their Rings of Power are literally unwatchable in the second season, I sit to watch an episode and sleep through half of it it is that boring.
