LEE PACE JOINS GLEN POWELL IN THE REMAKE
Well, that seriously increases the hunk factor in it: Lee Pace has just joined Glen Powell in the new remake of sf classic THE RUNNING MAN which originally starred Arnold Schwarzenneger. Edgar Wright is directing the adaptation of Stephen King’s futuristic novel, a chase thriller set in a dystopian America in the year 2025. The story centers on Ben Richards, a desperate man who participates in violent reality show called The Running Man in order to win enough money to revive his gravely ill daughter. The show follows Richards being chased by numerous hunters sent to kill him. Josh Brolin as a villain, Karl Glusman, Katy O’Brian and Daniel Ezra are also in the film which will have a November 21, 2025 release!

  1. I didn't watch the version with Arnold Schwarzenneger, and I don't think I am going to watch this remake too. However, my husband is a fan of Stephen King, so he might be interested.

    1. I have not watched it either, as I never liked Schwarzy, but I do like him much better now when he is older and funny than then.

  3. Lee Pace ages like fine wine. Just looks better and better as the years go by.
I did not watch the original either, but I always find it funny how books write about the future and how it's going to be, then boom, here we are, just a year away from when this one took place. Then again, are we really that far off from a dystopian rule?
