While Inside Out 2 and Despicable Me 4 are wrecking chaos at the box offices around the world this summer, next Autumn is bringing us a new animated movie from Dream Works studios THE WILD ROBOT which will land into cinemas September 27th based on the book series of the same name by lovely Peter Brown!
 
  THIS EPIC ADVENTURE 
follows the journey of a robot ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of a cute little orphaned gosling. It is a powerful story about the discovery of self, a thrilling
It is based on a series of books
examination of the bridge between technology and nature and a moving exploration of what it means to be alive and connected to all living things.


THE VOICE CAST
Lupita Nyong'o is Roz, an abandoned robot that lives in the forest who becomes the adoptive mother of Brightbill. Pedro Pascal stars as Fink, a mischievous fox who is the first animal that Roz helps and befriends. Catherine O'Hara as Pinktail, a mother opossum. Bill Nighy as Longneck, a wise elder goose. Kit Connor as Brightbill, an orphaned goose who is raised by Roz as her own son. Stephanie Hsu as Vontra, a robot of Roz's race who has been sent to retrieve Roz! Directed by Chris Sanders it is the last movie done within the studio, as the next ones will be ordered from outside studios. It will later stream on Peacock and then on Netflix as well.
