It was one of the most tragic loves and now it is getting a series: Russian mini series NATALIE AND ALEXANDER (Натали и Александр), which will air sometime this year on their national broadcaster, has finished shooting
its twelve episodes. In the series that depicts the love between Natalia Goncharova and

beauty Natalia. Then their family life, the first discord and
Goncharova’s view on the reasons for the duel with Dantes, which led to
the death of the poet, will be shown.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if they will portray her as the vile biyatch that she was or if they will excuse her. Remember that she married her lover to her own sister so that they could see each other constantly and when they were caught by Pushkin, he challanged her lover, his brother in law, on a duel where the lover basically shot him by firing the gun before the counting was done. Very nasty woman.

DeleteIt is just another step in making everything relative so that the powers that be can control what we think, even history. I mean Nataliya was a first class archhoe and bitch and they will probably portray her as angel who came upon a wrong husband... Pisses me off to no extent.

DeleteBut does Russia usually go off facts or do they have their own agenda also? If it were Hollywood produced, I know it would be all to fit the new agenda. I figured Russia would be a little more historically accurate though.
ReplyDeleteThey usually don't, although they do sometimes like to beautify their history but everyone does that. Hopefully this one will portray her as she was.
