AIR DATE AND TRAILER FOR PARAMOUNT PLUS UK'S THRILLER SERIES INSOMNIA WITH VICKY MCCLURE AND TOM CULLEN

   INSOMNIA TRAILER
WITH VICKY MCCLURE AND TOM CULLEN
New series starts later this May
Paramount Plus UK has sent us the trailer with Vicky McClure and Tom Cullen in their new six part series INSOMNIA which streams from May 23rd

THE PAST NEVER SLEEPS
Vicky McClure plays successful career woman Emma Averill who fears she might be losing her mind when her hard-won dream life starts to turn into a nightmare. A couple of weeks before her fortieth birthday, Emma stops sleeping — just as her mother had done right before she suffered a violent psychotic breakdown on the night of her own fortieth birthday. Emma’s mother always told her she’d go the same way, that she had the same “bad blood” and now Emma’s terrified it’s true. As events worsen, Emma’s
world starts to unravel and she realises that only by investigating the truth of her painful past, can she find the answers to her present and prevent tragedy
from striking a second time. Tom Cullen plays Emma’s loving husband Robert, Smylie Bradwell and India Fowler are Will and Chloe, their
children. Emma’s estranged sister Phoebe is played by Leanne Best  with Corinna Marlowe as Emma’s mother Patricia and Lyndsey Marshal as Caroline, Emma’s friend. It will also stream on Stan in Australia, May 24th.

  1. Imagine not being able to sleep. I am asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. Maybe she should come work for me. It's exhaustion all around LOL

    1. Me too, I am so freaking fecking tired I fall asleep as soon as I stick my nose into the pillow LOL and most nights I have continued seven hours of sleep till seven in the morning when the alarm goes on. There are tons of people with insomnia. In most cases they do sleep but just a couple of hours every night. I am not sure how it influences their health, though.

    2. After I had babies, I was exhausted but could never fall asleep, so I'd generally only get power naps in here and there. I swear, I was a walking zombie for like 6 years. So glad that's over now! Could have played into triggering my autoimmune disorder to rear its head. I never had glaring symptoms of it until after I birthed Allison, so I'd say that lack of sleep is quite detrimental to overall health.

    3. But that was because you were alert and waking up for them during the night, and it ruined your biorhythm.

  4. I would watch this.
I have to take medicine at night in order to sleep. Before I started taking it I would stay up for 24 hours at a time and then on sleep 5 hours and be up again. I did this for years. I've had nightly nightmares since I was 9 so I don't like to sleep.

    1. You also do not work and body needs exhaustion to be able to sleep. My mother is the same, she is retired, does not do much around the house, takes an afternoon, goes nowhere, and then wonders why she cannot sleep at night LOL
