SEE HUGO BECKER FIGHTING DANGEROUS NEW EPIDEMIC IN THE PLAGUE FRENCH TV SERIES BASED ON ALBERT CAMUS' CLASSIC NOVEL

  THE PLAGUE SERIES
BASED ON ALBERT CAMUS CLASSIC NOVEL
The Plague started earlier this Tuesday in France
Here is a brand new series that started airing earlier this week over in France. THE PLAGUE (La Peste) is France 2's four episode series based on Albert Camus' novel with Hugo Becker in the cast.
THE PLAGUE is set in 2030, in a society where today’s fears and concerns strangely resonate. The society is just emerging from the wave of covid epidemics. And the plague it encounters is much more formidable... While we have learned to live with the seasonal variants of covid, we discover in this southern city a new variant of the plague bacillus called YP2. Due to lack of treatment, the central government will decide, in order to spare the rest of the country, to seal off the city - then to apply a mysterious "Plan D" whose monstrous mechanisms we will gradually discover.

  1. The decision to seal off the city and the implementation of a mysterious "Plan D" promise to unravel a gripping tale of societal upheaval and human resilience. With Hugo Becker in the cast, this series is sure to offer a compelling exploration of existential themes and contemporary anxieties. I'm intrigued to see how the story unfolds! I shared an inspiring post, I invite you to read: [Visit](https://www.melodyjacob.com/2024/03/my-womens-day-hero-is-my-mom-what-to-wear-on-womens-day.html)

  2. It is a scary world we live in. The plague or catastrophe I used to see only on screen can happen in real life. Some day, we might even experience the walking dead scenes.

  3. yes, Yes, I need to see Hugo Becker in something better than the horrible New Look, but La Peste is such a depressing book.

    1. I don't think you will like Cristobal Balenciaga any more than The New Look. I 've just finished it and I think Cristobal would have died again if he was able to see it, it literally puts all of his biggest fears in life out in the public, very disrespectful, but given that he did not mind the Nazis much, serves him right, pompous, egotistic prick he was.

  4. I'm still feeling the after effects of this round of Covid and I'm fricken tired of it. Doesn't matter how many vitamins or supplements I'm on, this shit is just lingering. Fatigue, cough, lots of mucus. Jason should have stayed in Florida instead of bringing it back home :(

    1. You neeed some good herbal syrup to cough out the mucus, I usually use some with honey and hollyhock and mucus is out in two or three days.

    2. Mucus is finally gone. Now if this stupid dry cough would bugger off, that would be great.

    3. Dry cough will probably bother you for few more weeks. Do not forget to increase your AHCC intake.

    4. I have dahlink. I'm just hoping it's gone before I head to Georgia next week. I don't want to be out in public hacking all over people. I know I'm no longer contagious, but I'll be getting side eyed, I'm sure.

    5. Just take two or three a day and you should be good as rain. And drink a bottle of syrup, three or four times a day. If you have hollyhock tea there, it will help too.

    6. I don't have hollyhock, but I do have a few bags of the nettle tea that you sent a few years back that I drink when I'm feeling ick. It does seem to help for a little bit after I've had a hot cup of that.

    7. Nettle is more for blood, blood pressure, it is an amazing cleanser and diuretic, so it stimulates liver and kidneys, since it is antibacterial it also cleanses your mouth and gums, it is also good for your hair. It can also help with painful periods, but not much help for throat and cough lol other than being amazing for the immune system.

    8. Must be a placebo effect then because I usually feel good for a few hours after a hot cup. It's not the best tasting tea, but I do feel less achy when I have some.

    9. That is because it is generally good for the immune system. This is why I will drink one day nettle or camomile or linden or elder and then other days green tea with fruity flavours. But we drink much more tisane than you in USA and ours are usually from untouched mountains and fields with no other additions, maybe that is why you feel good after drinking it.
