I'm happy that Shogun is a success because I'm enjoying it a lot, but I'm ambivalent about this one. I fear it will be another example of the Holokitsch (as Art Spiegelman calls it) and I'm not crazy about the cast.

DeleteYes, the cast for this one is tad bit ridiculous, they both look like kids, washed and perfumed kids, and she looks ridiculous with those massive fugly mouth with three tons of lipstick on them in the middle of the war. It seems they were making Revlon ad not a war series.
What a pity that it's only on Hulu...we are watching 3 body problems now.

DeleteWe got rid of Hulu, so this won’t be on my list, but like you said, if everyone else is excited about it, I will probably not like it anyways lol
