JANE AUSTEN AT HALLMARK

Hallmark has announced that next February will be filled with Jane Austen inspired movies. Four films include PAGING MR. DARCY with Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp in which love of Jane Austen’s stories helps two people overcome their pride and admit to their belief in love. February 10th brings LOVE & JANE in which a woman finds guidance from Jane Austen, quite literally. It stars Alison Sweeney and Benjamin 
Ayres. AN AMERICAN IN AUSTEN follows a librarian who thinks that no man can live up to Mr. Darcy and gets an unexpected chance to find out if that’s true. Eliza Bennett, Nicholas Bishop, and Nell Barlow will star in it on February 17th. The last weekend brings sumptuously beautiful adaptation of SENSE & SENSIBLITY, starring Deborah Ayorinde, Bethany Antonia, Dan Jeannotte, and Akil Largie. I am guessing it will be period set.

I used to watch Sweeney on Days of Our Lives. I didn’t know she was still acting. Haven’t heard her name in quite some time!

DeleteShe was a host on The Biggest Loser television show after her soap opera stint. Started getting a lot of endorsements for weight loss programs after that. She was never a big girl, but by tv standards, was considered hefty. So when she lost weight while on Biggest Loser, became pretty popular, at least in the States.
