YOUR FAVOURITE VETS ARE BACK IN ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL SEASON FOUR TRAILER! SERIES RETURNS NEXT WEEK

ALL CREATURES GREAT & SMALL
SEASON FOUR TRAILER IS HERE
Even though they will be missing Tristan who has gone to war, our heroes from ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL will, it seems, have a brand new newbie to torture and poke fun with, at least judging by the trailer for season four which starts on Channel 5 October 5th with six brand new episode plus a festive one for Christmas. The series will also air on PBS Masterpiece for US audience in January. Check out the trailer below the post.

THE FOURTH SEASON
of the hit historical drama, based on the novels by James Herriot, will start off in Spring 1940, and will see James (Nicholas Ralph) and Helen (Rachel Shenton) thinking about starting a family - however, they currently don't know whether or not James will be called up to serve in the RAF. Meanwhile, Tristan’s absence is felt by all, but particularly by Siegfried (Samuel West), who attempts to hold the growing household together. However, the arrival of trainee veterinary student Richard Carmody (James Anthony-Rose) causes complications. Anna Madeley returns as Mrs Hall and Patricia Hodge as Mrs Pumphrey. A new cast member joining this season is Neve McIntosh as Miss Harbottle, a highly efficient bookkeeper that Siegfried and James bring in as one of the extra pairs of hands to help around the practice. Tony Pitts, Imogen Clawson, Paul Copley, Cleo Sylvestre, James Bolam, Will Thorp and Sam Retford also star in the new season.

  1. I love this series. It is so sweet and wholesome, and the animals are adorable. I like this actors better than in the original

    1. And judging by the first photo, it seems they are pregnant in this season, imagine getting pregnant while the war is starting, I do not get the logic...

    2. And yet it was a time of demographic growth, like in France during the Occupation. Or among Jewish survivors after the war. There were a lot of illegitimate babies born in the UK at the time many product of liaisons between British women and foreign soldiers, especially Americans, some were of mixed race.

    3. Shocking and scandalous. In my country we lost half of the citizens, so it was defo not a demogrowth time for us. Guess it helps when an ocean or a channel protect a country.
