NOTES OF AUTUMN ROMCOM
LUKE MACFARLANE TO PAIR UP WITH PETER PORTE
Notes of Autumn arrive this September
And we really could not have dreamed up a hotter couple, we are already feeling all tingly inside! Our dearest boys Luke MacFarlane and Peter Porte will lead NOTES OF AUTUMN which kicks off Autumn season at Hallmark September 16th! In Notes of Autumn, Ellie(Ashley Williams) is a fun-loving, classically trained pianist living in the city who gave up on her passion long ago. She now works for a hotel and always seems to be getting things wrong when musical inspiration strikes. Her best friend, Leo (Luke Macfarlane), lives in the rustic outskirts of British Columbia. He’s a famous author with writer’s block who can’t finish another installment in his highly popular book series. They both need a change of scenery as the chilly days of autumn settle in and decide to swap places, ending up completely lost in new surroundings.
Ellie gets tangled up in helping Leo’s neighbor, Sam (Marcus Rosner), put together a musical performance for a local fundraiser and comes to terms with why she quit music years ago. Meanwhile, Leo strikes up a friendship with Ellie’s good friend Matt (Peter Porte) and opens himself up to writing something different that really inspires him. Their newfound friendships turn into something far more meaningful. As both Ellie and Leo take part in the joys of the autumn season, they also discover their hearts belong somewhere very different than they ever thought possible. I will publish a trailer as soon as we get one!
1ST PICS FROM MONARCH
THE LEGACY OF MONSTERS
Apple TV Plus has released first images from their new catastrophe monster series MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS which will stream later this year. Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, the story of the ten episode series tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives. Our gorgeous boy Anders Holm also stars. Check out the first teaser trailer below:
Note Of Autumn has my name written all over it. There is always something lovely and romantic and exciting when the season hits. This film will be a fun one to start the season off right!
I cannot wait for it as two of my husbands star in it as a couple, imagine that! I will riot of they don't get a few steamy kissing scenes and a couple of shirtless ones together.
Peter did have smooching and shirtless scenes with Juan Pablo di Pace last year in their Christmas movie, but they were not very convincing as a couple. Now, Porte and Luke is all kinds of convincing to me LOL
GIVE SOME LOVE TO YOUR DEZZY :) DON'T FORGET THAT BLOGGER'S NEW COMMENT BOX OFTEN REQUIRES FOR YOU TO DISABLE PROTECTION ON YOUR BROWSER IN ORDER TO COMMENT.
Didn't expect to see Kurt Russell here...a computerized monster is just not my thing.
ReplyDeleteAnd it seems Kurt is one of those Hollywood stars who are trying to push their kids onto us. Nepotism is very strong.
