    1. Careme is mentioned in The Pot Au Feu movie as inspiration to Benoit Magimel's character. I am very excited, I think we will like it, especially as I like the cast, Voisin was nice in Lost Illusions two years ago.

    1. Imagine all the food he will cook in the series! I loved their culinary historical movie Delicieux a few years ago and looking forward to The Pot Au Feu too this year.

  3. You know this one is definitely for me! We no longer have HBO streaming and I think we're going to cancel Hulu soon as well. Apple finally seems worthwhile for us, so I'm thinking this fall we'll bite the bullet and subscribe.

    2. I did! There just wasn't enough on there to keep me interested. I am hoping Apple keeps up with the interesting programs. We'll sign up for them after I sign back up for Paramount and catch up on Yellowstone, then cancel them again. It's so much work just to watch a few programs these days!

    6. He doesn't get into those either. He's more into movies about World War 2, wild wild west, and comedies. I can finagle him into a rom com every now and again though lol.

    7. He must watch SAS Rogue heroes series then, I am finishing it and it is really good with an amazing cast. Cannot remember whether it is on HBO or MGM Plus over there...

  4. Well at least it's not about the Tudors! Sounds like it could be interesting though I'll have to wait till it makes its way to one of the British terrestrial channels before I watch it.

    1. Not sure if it will, since Apple is available for streaming in UK too, but good luck :) Some of the cancelled American shows did end up on Channel 4 and 5, like Becoming Elizabeth for example, but it is utterly atrocious.
