WE WILL LIVE OUR FUTURE IN AN UNDERGROUND SILO ACCORDING TO NEW APPLE TV + APOCALYPTIC SF SERIES TRAILER WITH REBECCA FERGUSON AND TIM ROBBINS

  SILO SERIES TRAILER
WELCOME TO DYSTOPIA
I have to admit I totally forgot about this one, I first announced it a couple of years ago and then it went completely off my radar, but now Apple TV + has set May 5th as the start date for their new apocalyptic series SILO and they have sent us a trailer to celebrate the announcement! This new 10-
Silo starts May 5th on Apple TV Plus
episode drama series is based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels! The world-building drama is led by Rebecca Ferguson, who will also serve as executive producer. Opening with a double episode premiere it also stars Common, Harriet Walter, Rashida Jones and Academy Award-winner Tim Robbins

SILO
is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will.

    1. I did tell you as much a few days ago :) It seems their new shows are more interesting than Netflix which hasn't aired anything interesting in months.

  2. I can't imagine a bigger hell than to be underground with 10,000 people. I'll take my chances trying to survive on the the surface. If not, well, better than the alternative.

    1. I would experience such a bad case of claustrophobia!

    2. Yes! I hope they make everyone bathe daily down there too. Imagine being confined not only with that many bodies, but unwashed bodies on top of that. Barf.

    3. I was just thinking yesterday how people probably smelled of sweat just a few decades ago because antiperspirants in stick appeared only, what, in the 80s or something like that?

    4. I don’t even know but ew. Then again, I don’t use an antiperspirant. For the last 2 years or so I’ve been using a product called Lumi. Stick deodorants just weren’t working for me. It was like I could smell myself halfway through the day. But Lumi neutralizes bacteria and claims 72 hours of odor control. Personally I wouldn’t go more than 24 hours, always opting to use it after my shower. Good for high bacteria prone parts- feet, pits and butt. I truly wish more people would use it because there isn’t much worse than smelling stinky body odor!

    5. My father did not use it and my brother is not using it either, but he is not using a toothpaste either.
I use Garnier's 92h roll on mineral based, so I need to put it on just every three days or something like that. I do sweat while walking but not too much and my pits do not smell. I see women using stick every day and don't understand them, if it says 48 hours, you use it every other day even with bathing.
