   SANDITON SEASON 3
ARRIVES IN MARCH TO PBS
The series will end next March
PBS Masterpiece has released first teaser from the third season of their historical costume drama SANDITON based on Jane Austen's final work. To air from March 19th, it will also be the finale of the whole series which stars Rose Williams as Charlotte Heywood, Cai Brigden as Ralph Starling, Ben Lloyd-Hughes as Alexander Colbourne, Edward Davis as Lord Montrose and Crystal Clarke as Georgiana Lambe. After Leo Suter and Theo James who left season one, the third season will no longer have the character of Esther, lady Babington, played by Charlotte Spencer and we are guessing Tom Weston Jones' character has left the town as well. Joining the series are several new characters that will surely bring drama, laughter, and romance along with them. Lady Montrose (Emma Fielding) is described as the quintessential Jane Austen mother figure, who arrives at Sanditon with one objective: matches for her children, Lydia and Henry. Lydia (Alice Orr-Ewing) is an independent young woman who is not as eager for a match as her mother. Lord Henry Montrose (Edward Davis) is described as charismatic and confident, but he holds a secret. Rowleigh Pryce (James Bolam) is a wealthy, curmudgeonly investor who is interested in teaming up with Tom Parker on the seaside resort's expansion. Their plans become complicated when Rowleigh runs into Lady Denham. Also new to Sanditon is Alexander's brother, Samuel Colbourne (Liam Garrigan), who is a lawyer and a charming bachelor.

  1. In the end, I got to like the series, although there were times I wanted to strangle Charlotte.

    1. The second season was defo more tolerable than the first one, but she just represents everything I cannot stand, everything Jane Austen is about - being bratty, mixing independence with ungratefulness, I just hate it all. I watched it for some of the actors and they are now gone :( I am glad it is ending.

    1. If it will not be too violent, but I think it could be. But it is not Netflix, so that is a good sign.

  3. Not a fan of Jane Austen AT ALL... and God of War doesn't sound appealing to me either. We have been watching a lot of stupid X'mas movies..the story sucks mostly, but it's holiday season...so, don't mind that.

    1. I have started the festive movie season myself last weekend with Christmas House II with the gorgeous Robert Buckley.

  4. Probably will be skipping both of these. The first doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, but Sandition could make my watch list if I ever run out of options. We're doing A LOT of driving over the next month. I'm in Tennessee right now, will be in Kentucky next week, then we have 3 weeks planned for Florida in January, so I may finally have time to burn through my watch lists on all of my streamers before February hits.

    1. What do you do all day when you are away? Does not it get boring in hotel rooms? And how do you feed yourself?
You will be three weeks in Florida? My, my!

    2. It is a lot of work. It takes us about eight hours to set up our displays so we usually do that the day before a show. The next morning is usually a full 10 hour workday, so we are waiting on customers and replenishing what has been sold. Afterwards we go to dinner and then immediately go back to the hotel and fall asleep. Then we repeat the cycle on Sunday except for at the end of the show we are tearing down our displays, packing up our trailer and driving several hours home. The venues usually have food for us to eat for lunch but we always go out for dinner at restaurants. That’s the fun part of traveling. We always pick restaurants to try that we don’t have in our area. Sometimes we plan a little extra time so we can drive around and explore new cities in the area we are working. I also go to their stores and wipe out their inventory on things I can engrave and resell.
We’re debating cutting Florida down to one week and will head to Texas the second half of January. We probably won’t make that decision now for another week or two. If sales are good in Florida, we’ll end up staying there for most of the month. Jason and Allison are going to Kentucky next week, but I’ll be staying home. He’s having a hard time dealing with that since it’s our first new years apart in 25 years, but I need time to make product for January and he needs to sell what we have now to oay off the Christmas bills.

    3. I'm surprised you never publish photos from all these places you visit and fairs, probably because of the stalkers and to avoid family members who might be close to the venue LOL

Oy, ya will be alone for New Year? The same like me LOL Will you got a friend's house or something at least?
