   TREASON TV SERIES
STARRING CHARLIE COX
I'm not really sure how festive a spy series is but that is exactly what you are getting under your Christmas tree this year from Netflix: new spy thriller mini
The series arrives a day after Christmas
series TREASON will be available for streaming from December 26th! With Charlie Cox leading the series as MI6 agent character Adam Lawrence, the cast also includes our dear Olga Kurylenko, Ciaran Hinds, Adam James, Oona Chaplin and Joe Macaulay and Brian Law!

  THE STORY OF TREASON
centers around Adam Lawrence, trained and groomed by MI6, whose career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam, and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most. 2. I’m very fond of CharlieCox, I love Olenka and it’s great seeing my countrywoman Oona “Talisa”Castilla-Chaplin. The truth is I have grown addicted to the genre even if is set in modern times.

    1. The only spy series I liked was LONDON SPY but that was because I wanted to marry Edward Holcroft's character LOL I did not know Oona was Chilean. Glad to see Olga back after she almost died from covid last year.

    2. Oona’s father, El Pato Castilla is a struggling Chilean director and documentalist. He used to be a struggling young director, now he is a struggling old director. His claims of fame was marrying Geraldine Chaplin, being extremely Red (he used to live and work in Cuba) and having an Indigenous mother. Oona was born in Madrid, went to boarding school in England (Gordonstoun, the same school where King Charles was bullied) and acts in British productions. She carries a Spanish passport but is proud of her Chilean heritage, particularly her native roots, and has traveled throughout the Araucania (our Indian Territory)

    3. I am so out of the loop when it comes to the Chaplins. The only thing I remember is that they hated Charlie who was not as funny at home as he was in public. I've never liked either Geraldine nor Oona, there is something strange about their looks that I don't find endearing.

  3. This one is for Jason, methinks. I'm not much into spy thrillers, but I'll indulge and watch with him from time to time. I might watch this one because as you say, the cast is nice.

    1. I'm into spy business only when the spies are hot.

    2. True, true! Give us all the hot spies. Especially the French and British ones!

    3. I would accept Russian and Scandinavian ones because I'm slutty like that.
