 BARBARIANS SEASON TWO
RETURNS THIS WEEK ON NETFLIX
It is here, people, bar your gates and prepare for an attack! The second season of Netflix' most watched German series ever BARBARIANS is ready to launch
Barbarians return OctoberREADY
its streaming start from October 21st! The story continuous after the famous victory of German tribes against the Romans in legendary Battle of Teutoburg in which they have used lush forests to attack the invaders in a tight space.

  WHAT'S THE STORY
A year after the Varus Battle in year 9 AD, the Roman troops have returned to Germania, stronger than ever, and Arminius is once again confronted with his Roman past. His brother has joined the Roman side topunish Arminius for his betrayal of Rome. While Thusnelda and Arminius try to unite the tribes against Rome and proclaim Arminius the king of the united German people, their childhood friend Folkwin makes a sinister challenge to the gods after parting his ways with them at the end of the first season.

 WHO IS IN THE CAST?
The cast led by our dear Laurence Rupp as Arminius, Jeanne Goursaud as Thusnelda and David Schutter as Folkwin Wolfspeer, is now joined by our favourite hunk Daniel Donskoy as Flavus, Arminius' brother raised in Rome, with Bernhard Schütz as Segestes, Robert Maaser as Odvulf and Murathan Muslu as the lead villain Maroboduus the Marcomanni King who brings his 70.000 men to the German cause but judging by the trailer seems to have some secret hots for our dear Flavus. Andrea Garofalo will play Aulus, with Katharina Heyer, and charismatic Alessandro Fella also joining the series! Set a year after general Varus’
defeat, the series now sees a new Roman general settled in Germania as Ari seeks to become king of all the tribes — but a rival stands in his way. This historical adventure series was created by Arne Nolting, Jan-Martin Scharf and Andreas Heckmann!

  1. Lots of bloodshed. Barbarian's indeed. Of course I'll wait until this one has run its course, then start watching it. Probably while I'm on the treadmill pretending to run the hell away from the slaughter LOL.
