It will cover 1698-1709 - ten years from the life of Peter the Great, during which he laid the foundations of the future Russian Empire. From the return of the great embassies from Europe to the Battle of Poltava. After the signing of a peace treaty with Sweden in 1721, Russia officially became an empire, and Peter became the first Russian emperor. The film, shot last autumn and winter, should premiere December 29th as the most beautiful New Year's present. The film will also include one of the actors from Western Europe as King Charles XII.

Dull! Dull is the word to describe this ghastly monotonous affair of a series. Dull casting with dull uninspired lead actress with zero charisma and a dull voice and looks set in dull costumes and sets to which the dull art production and lighting give no shine nor splendour leaving them even more dull. From dull writing and direction, the dullness never ceases to leave this wretched show that does not deserve any of your attention.

into a TV series covering everything from GANDHI’s earliest days and his actions as a lawyer in South Africa to the independence struggle in India, telling the lesser known stories of his life that played an important role in shaping him into a Mahatma. It will also tell the stories of all his compatriots and contemporaries of the freedom movement, who played integral parts in shaping what became free and modern India. Pratik Gandhi, the surname is coincidental, will star as Gandhi, who rose from a campaigning lawyer to lead India to independence from the British Empire before his tragic assassination in 1947.
