While we think the rest of the shows in the Walking Dead franchise have gone downhill long time ago, we might still give a chance to new spin off
TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD which is supposed to arrive to AMC this summer in a form of an anthology series: the six episode series expands the Walking Dead universe and features original, standalone stories focused on both new and established characters within the walker apocalypse. This episodic approach with six individual stories will see Olivia Munn, Danny Ramirez, Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz and Jessie T. Usher star together with Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Poppy Liu, Anthony Edwards, Jillian Bell, and Daniella Pineda! The series will also stream on AMC Plus.

I also have two trailers that I forgot to show you earlier this week. First one is for suspenseful eight episode mystery drama PIECES OF HER which
will land on Netflix March 4th returning Toni Collette to the small screens. David Wenham, Joe Dempsie, also star in the adaptation of Karin Slaughter's novel. When a Saturday afternoon trip to the mall with her mother suddenly explodes into violence, an adrift young woman's (Jessica Barden) conception of her mother (Toni Collette) is forever changed. As figures from her mother's past start to resurface, she is forced to go on the run and on that journey, begins to piece together the truth of her mother's previous identity and uncovers secrets of her childhood. WINDFALL TRAILER

Also arriving to Netflix next month, March 18th is Charlie McDowell's dark comedy movie WINDFALL in which an attempt of kidnap goes a bit awry. Jason Segel plays a man who breaks into a tech billionaire's empty
vacation home, but things go sideways when the arrogant mogul (Jesse Plemons) and his wife (Lily Collins) arrive for a last-minute getaway.

Walking Dead just needs to hang its hat already. I love me some Olivia, but I don’t think I’ll tune into the spinoff.
ReplyDeleteI think the original series is currently in its final season, I dropped that shite when they killed Kiky-Ricky. I might check this one, though, as I love individual stories. I have that third spinoff Walking Dead World Beyond downloaded, but haven't yet watched it, that one is set years after the zombie apocalypse.

DeleteHe died a few seasons ago, I left immediately. Wait, what? Carl was alive when I left how is he dead now?
DeleteRick's not dead, as far as I know. He was kidnapped and flown off in a helicopter never to be heard from again, if memory serves me correct. Honestly, I hated Carl, but it was pure BS how they killed the poor kid off. I don't think there are too many likable characters left on the show since they killed all of the good ones off.
DeleteBut that is as good as dead LOL He might return in those three films that they are planning but those might very well be set in the past or something. I have never liked any other character in that show except Ricky and that nice gay guy.
DeleteI rolled my eyes at The Walking Dead. I used to love that show, but after a while, they killed everyone we liked off and it just got ridiculous. The worst part was, they never provide answers to any of their mysteries! I couldn't watch it, not even for Olivia Munn!
ReplyDeleteAnd they left Negan alive and made him the star of the show something no one ever wished for. Negan who pretty much ruined the show in the first place.
