    1. I did not know that, so nice to hear. I once translated one of your books for the readers of my country, Ahmet Umit's Memento on Istanbul.

  2. Our House sounds like a nightmare. Imagine what you'd do if you came home and strangers took up residence. Jason thought about buying rental property, but even that sets me on edge because what if the people renting decide they don't want to pay and don't move out? Then we'd be stuck paying for strangers to live on OUR land! When the pandemic hit, that became a hard reality for many property owners here and the law let the squatters do it. My mom had to start eviction notice on my little sister because she stays there occasionally and has her mail sent to my mom's address. If my sister wanted to be a pain, she could legally stay there for 30 days at a minimum even though she pays no rent and there's nothing my mom can do about it. I told mom that she needed to get her evicted because if my mom were to die, my sister would get to stay there for a whole month trashing and clearing out all of the valuables and there would be nothing I could do about it, even though I am power of attorney over her estate in the event of her passing. Maybe I need to watch Our House to see how this ends LOL

    1. Reminds me of situation of one of my friends whose mother, when he was about ten, kicked daddy out of the house, and moved in her lover. My friend woke up to find another man sleeping in his father's bed and using his house. He never forgave his mother and to this date does not speak with her.

My grandma had three daughters and left it all to my mother, they had a document that my mother would get the house if she takes care of my grandma in the old age and she did. But since your sister is already camping there, that does sound horrible. That biyach would just sell your house and buy drugs with it. Maybe moma needs a nasty dog or something.

  3. Anatomy of a Scandal is something that I'd watch. Even though it's a British series, I can still stream it on Netflix here, correct? Is it based on a true story or is the novel fiction?

    1. It will air on Netflix, yes. I don't think it is a true story, but it might be inspired by something.
