1ST PIC WITH KAITLYN DEVER
20th Century Studios has issued first photo of Kaitlyn Dever in their historical drama ROSALINE which, based on the novel When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle, is a modern twist on the classic Shakespeare tale. In
it, we see “the most famous love story ever told” through the eyes of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline, a sharp but idealistic young woman who happens to be Romeo’s recent ex. The film will stream on Hulu next year.

HULU'S THE PRINCESS
1ST PIC WITH JOEY KING
20th Century Studios and Hulu will also stream, sometime next summer, fairy tale adventure THE PRINCESS in which Joey King plays a young royal princess who is more comfortable with a sword than a tiara and must
save her kingdom from ruthless mercenaries. Le Van Kiet is directing down in Bulgaria, but the rest of the cast is unknown currently.

DESERT WARRIOR EPIC MOVIE
FIRST PHOTO REVEALED
1st photo from Rupert Wyatt directed 7th century epic adventure DESERT WARRIOR has been revealed. Arabia is still made up of rival, feuding tribes, disunited and forever at each other’s throats. Emperor Kisra (Ben Kingsley) has a fearsome reputation for being utterly ruthless. But when the Arabian Princess Hind (Aiysha Hart) refuses to become the emperor’s concubine, the stage is set for an epic confrontation. It is a battle
that, by its conclusion, will have changed the region forever and echo throughout history. Escaping with her father, King Numan (Ghassan Massoud) into the vast and unforgiving desert, Hind is pursued by Kisra’s bloodthirsty troops. Hind and her father are forced to entrust their safety to a mysterious bandit (Anthony Mackie), whose fighting prowess is second to none. The bandit harbors his own secrets, which will play a large part in deciding the fate of the battle. Hind inspires the fractious tribes to come together for one last stand and unite against an army that outnumbers them and is far better equipped.

DeleteI never understood wanting a sword over a tiara. Tiaras are so pretty, and hopefully not as heavy as a solid metal weapon. :)

DeleteI didn't even recognize Kaitlyn Dever. She looks so pretty in that pic. I always knew she'd grow up to be a stunner.

DeleteI completely agree. I always thought she had a nasally, whiny voice. Definitely not period piece material, but she's still quite pretty to look at. We'll see if we can overlook that voice of hers in this one.
DeleteIt will be interesting to see if she managed to speak normally LOL Some people are just not suited for such films, but she does play a tweensy brat, so there is that.
