literary tradition of comic and idiosyncratic British ‘innocents abroad,’ but also reveals darker, more serious storylines, set against the historical backdrop of the rise of Fascism in Mussolini’s Italy.
Ralph Fiennes is one of my favourites and I enjoy thriller!
ReplyDeleteHe is a very nice gent privately too. He shot his first directorial debut here in my country and was very nice to everyone and very humble.
DeleteI really like psychological thrillers.
ReplyDeleteI saw that Sweet Tooth was on Netflix and remembered the show from your blog so I started watching it. Now bad but I'm only one episode in right now.
I have it downloaded and will watch it too this summer.
DeleteYou had me at eccentric culinary culture. It's an added bonus that it's a psychological thriller!
ReplyDeleteHope they don't serve something nasty, though.
DeleteAnya Taylor Joy is really getting casted a lot recently, guess she's one of the "it girls" in the movie biz at the moment. 🙂
ReplyDeleteShe defo is. I liked her in Miniaturist, a series that made her famous basically, but I haven't watched her chess series. She is defo better than Jodi Komer.
DeleteI am not a drama lover but time to time i want to watch a good quality drama. Hotel portofino series look not bad.
ReplyDeleteI think the audience will love it!
DeleteI'm sorry, but I am just completely distracted by this Lorenzo Richelmy! He resembles my husband when he was younger, skinnier, and had a very full head of hair. What a handsome man!
ReplyDeleteLorenzo is blond by the way ;)
DeleteDoes he dye his hair?? It looks super dark to me.
DeleteYou need to watch his MARCO POLO series . It had just two ten episode seasons, the second much better than the first one. He lacks in charisma, though.
