Apple has revealed the cast for their new psychological TV series
SURFACE in which
Gugu Mbatha Raw plays Sophie, in the elevated thriller about a woman’s quest to rebuild her life after a suicide attempt, and her struggle to remember, and understand, everything that led up to the

LATE IN SUMMER which, set in rural Cornwall, charts a brief encounter between a lonely farmer’s wife and a Black American GI (
Adewale Akinnuoye Agbaje) that leads to first love in middle life and an impossible choice. British thespian
Timothy Spall is executive producing! Could he also play the farmer?
Surface doesn't sound too bad, but unfortunately, I got rid of our Apple TV subscription. Unless it's available to torrent, I'll miss that one.

DeleteI would really love to watch Surface...but we don't have Apple..can't even keep up with all the series in Netflix..Just start another one called Maniac with Emma Stone.

DeleteThe first one sounds good. I wonder if surviving a suicide attempt leaves one feeling relieved or disappointed? I’ve read many articles that in the split second left of their life, there is immediate regret.
ReplyDeleteI imagine it leaves you empty. I wanted to kill myself many times throughout my teen years, but always felt that it would show me as weak and weak I am not.
