IN US WE TRUST IS THE SLOGAN OF THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH NEW TV SERIES STARTING TOMORROW AT CW ABOUT A CITY THAT DECLARES ITS INDEPENDENCE FROM USA!

 THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH
STARTS TOMORROW AT CW
Unlike last summer when, despite Covid, we had an abundance of new series, this one will be as dry as a witch's tit, my darlings. One of the few new ones will be THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH which starts at CW as soon as

tomorrow! The show circled around pilot seasons for a few years before ending up at CW this year.
IN US WE TRUST
The bucolic tranquility of Greylock, New Hampshire is upended when a massive vein of coltan - an incredibly valuable mineral used in tech - is discovered under the town. State backed mining company Lydon Industries swoops in with plans to extract the mineral, which will wipe Greylock off the map. With her friends and family in danger of losing their homes, rebellious high school teacher Sarah Cooper (Stella Baker) vows to stop Lydon's bulldozers. Leading Lydon's efforts is Sarah's estranged brother, Danny Cooper (Luke

After enduring a difficult childhood at the hands of his mother, former New Hampshire state senator Ellen Cooper (Megan Follows), Danny is eager to exact his revenge on a community he feels abandoned him. Sarah enlists her friends - fellow teacher Corinne Dearborn (Hope Lauren), police officer Amy "AJ" Johnson (Nia Holloway), and diner manager Grover

Simms (Ian Duff) - in the fight against Danny. There seems to be no way to stop the town's impending demise, until Sarah proposes an oddly intriguing solution: Greylock could declare independence, since the town's land was never properly claimed by the United States. With the help of a group of

Now, Sarah and her allies must confront an even more daunting task: building a country from scratch.

  1. That would be a tough job for Sarah...

  2. I don't think this one would be entertaining for me.

  3. It doesn’t look too bad, but I don’t think I’ll rush to watch this. Maybe at some point I’ll catch up on it if I hear good reviews.

    1. I don't like the lead actress, seems rather bleh meh but I do ever so love me the premise. I often wish my city would separate from the rest of the country.

    2. I do, too. You and I should buy our own little island and make our own country away from all of the riff raff.

    3. If I ever do, you’ll be the first to know and benefit from it!

  4. Intriguing premise, but how do they make a series out of it. A movie I could see. lol

    1. Well it is just 13 episodes, and after they could deal with the problems of the newfound little republic.

  5. Looks like they took down that YouTube video you embedded on the blog but luckily, I found the trailer online.

I have so many full seasons of TV shows queued already. It's crazy. Been binge-watching a few in the last couple days. CW's content usually isn't that interesting or good IMO, so... I'll skip that one. 😏🤷‍♂️

    1. I will put another one, such nasty villains they are. CW is the worst, I haven't watched anything theirs since Reign.

    2. They cancelled so many of the shows I started watching back in the day so, I just gave up on their productions altogether. Or I'm trying my best do avoid 'em. 😏

    3. And all they do is the same, all their super hero series, like watching the same one. I tried Flash for Gustin, but did not last longer than five episodes.

  6. I've been watching Walker on the CW out of respect for Jared Padalecki. The "woke" ideas that they literally slap across your face every 2 seconds makes me want to never watch anything else from that station.
