CATE BLANCHETT UNVEILED
AS INTERGALACTIC OUTLAW LILITH IN BORDERLANDS MOVIE
First, rather mysterious, image has been unveiled today of Cate Blanchett as the lead character in sf movie BORDERLANDS based on the popular game. She is Lilith, an infamous outlaw with a mysterious past, who
reluctantly returns to her home planet of Pandora to find the missing daughter of the universe's most powerful S.O.B., Atlas (Édgar Ramírez).
Lilith soon forms an alliance with an unexpected team - Roland (Kevin Hart), a former elite mercenary, now desperate for redemption; Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), a feral pre-teen demolitionist; Krieg (Florian Munteanu), Tina's musclebound, rhetorically challenged protector; Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), the scientist with a tenuous grip on sanity; and Claptrap (Jack Black), a persistently wiseass robot. These unlikely heroes must battle alien monsters and dangerous bandits to find and protect the missing girl, who may hold the key to unimaginable power. The fate of the universe could be in their hands - but they'll be fighting for something more: each other.

Channel 5 has unveiled first photos from some of their upcoming new series, among them THE TEACHER, which will star Sheridan Smith as Jenna, a teacher who finds herself accused of a drunken sexual encounter with
one of her pupils and THE HOLIDAY starring Jill Halfpenny in a series based on TM Logan’s novel of the same name. During the holiday in the stifling Mediterranean heat, her character Kate uncovers a secret: her husband
is having an affair. The dream holiday quickly becomes a nightmare when she suspects the other woman is one of her best friends. As Kate closes in on the truth, she realises too late that the stakes are far higher than she ever imagined!

DeleteI like Cate Blanchett and it would be a delight to see her play an outlaw. Not long ago I just watched a movie that she played a lesbian...she was good.
